Sludge disruption is a new technology,which aims at destroying the floc structure of the sludge and cell wall.By doing this,the content inside the cell solubilises and the amounts of degradable organics in the water is increased.A comprehensive review on the research of the technology of the sludge disruption has been given in this paper.The article focuses on introducing the non-biological method.
