The design and debugging engineering example of the treatment of the wastewater from edible oil production by pre-treatment and composite anaerobic and biological contact oxidation process are introduced mainly. The operating results indicate that, as the main process, the technology is fit for treating highly concentrated lipid wastewater, and has high load and steady operation. When the COD, BOD 5, SS and lipid of in-flow are 32 471.0-41 674.5 mg/L, 12 751.0-16 138.3 mg/L, 3 496.9-9 502.3 mg/L and 271.6-592.3 mg/L, the out-flowreaches the designing standard, which COD, BOD 5, SS and lipid are 76.9-86.0 mg/L, 18.0-21.3 mg/L, 26.0-52.0 mg/L and 1.05-4.96 mg/L.
