The biochemical oxidation character experiment shows that azo dyes wastewater has inhibitory effect on microorganism.But the wastewater does not appear to be inhibitory to the acclimated activated sludge.When the wastewater is treated by UASB reactor, 50%~ 60%COD is removed, BOD5/COD is 0.42, and granular sludge is formed in reactor.When UASB reactor effluent goes through aerobic membrane biological reacto 65%COD is removed.Then the wastewater goes through the cinder adsorption of cinder treatment, the COD of effluent can be reduced to lower than 200 mg/L, meeting the Second Grade of Integrated Discharge Standard.
