The air floatation collecting protein-UASB SBR process is adopted to treat starch wastewater. The application results show that when the SS, COD Cr, BOD5 of the influent are 6862 mg/L, 14467 mg/L and 8672 mg/L respectively, those of the effluent are 86 mg/L, 127 mg/L and 22.5 mg/L, which is stable and quite good to meet the requirement of the second grade of our national wastewater discharge standard. At the same time, the protein fodder and the marsh gas are made during the wastewater treatment, getting remarkable environmental and economic benefits.
