Experimental research on the anti-scaling technique of the backwater pipe in the recycling system of the ash water for heat power plants

Abstract

The scaling inhibition experiment of six monomer scaling inhibitors and four complex scaling inhibitors for eight thermal power plants ash backwater samples in Jiangxi Province, is carried out. On the basis of the testing results a higher effective scaling inhibitor named JDZG - Ⅰ is developed. The testing results of the JDZG - Ⅰ scaling inhibitor show that it is characterized by smaller dosage, higher scaling inhibition ratio, longer lasting time and wider using scope. Especially, with the ash backwater of high pH, high alkalinity and high calcium concentration, it still has very high scaling inhibition ratio.
