Treatment of diacid wastewater by the combinationof biological and photocatalytical oxidation methods

Based on the characteristics of (C4 ~ C6) mixed diacid wastewater, it is treated by the combination of biological and photocatalytical methods, and the treatment condition is optimized. The result shows that this combination processing technology can remove CODCr and chroma efficiently, especially for chroma. When the retention time at biological fluidized-bed is 10 h, then the effluent is faced to photocatalytic treatment for 45 min, the removal rate of CODCr and chroma reaches 96.1% and 97.4% respectively.
