A lab-scale experiment has been conducted to study the suitable process and the key operational parameters of spraying paint wastewater treatment of containers.It is concluded that,spraying paint wastewater treatment by the combination of SBR system and physico-chemical coagulation is feasible to meet the related environmental standards.In the SBR system,the proportion of spraying paint wastewater and the domestic wastewater should be about 6∶4.the influent COD should be controlled between 1400-1 600mg/L.Under such conditions,the effluent COD can be decreased below 150mg/L and SS below 200mg/L by a aerobic biological treatment.Following coagulation with PAC and PAM (2:1volume ratio),SS can be decreased below 50mg/L,reaching chinese related effluent standard.
