Abstract

Lignin is extracted from straw pulp paper-making black liquor. It is us ed as coagulant for decoloration and CODCr<\sub> removal in woolen textile factories, printing and dyeing factories and dye-making factories. Experiments show that lignin is a promising coagulant. It has quite good CODCr<\sub> a nd chromaticity removal efficiency on wastewater from those factories. It not on ly reclaims the useful materials from wastewater in paper-making factories, but is able to be used for other industrial wastewater. Double benefits can be obtai ned.
