Abstract

Since the oilfield produced wastewater is characteristic of complicated water quality and bad biodegradability, the feasibility of biological treatment of the oilfield produced wastewater by hydrolysis acidification-anoxic process has been studied and optimal process parameters have been got. The results showthat the processes performed well in treating the oilfield produced wastewater, with the effluent reaching the strictest requirement of the First Grade Effluent Discharge Standards for Wastewater from Petroleum Development Industry (GB 3550—1983).
