Two-step decoloration of sugar molasses alcohol wastewater and the recovery of pigments
Online published: 2010-10-01
A two-step sorption procedure has been developed for the decoloration of sugar molasses alcohol wastewater. D 101 resin and activated carbon are employed as sorbents in the procedure and satisfaction results have been achieved. The decoloration ratio is up to 98.3%, and the removal rate of CODCr reaches 90%. The pigments can be reclaimed and the sorbents can be reused effectively.
