Abstract

The treatment effectiveness of 3 kinds of simulated water samples conta ining different dyes and actual printing and dyeing wastewater by Fenton oxidati on-coagulation process has been studied.The results show Fenton oxidation-coagulation process is especially suitable for treating dye wastewater with compl icated composition.The effect of Fenton oxidation-coagulation process is grea tly affected by pH value.The suitable pH value is 4 ~ 6.The suitable amounts o f Fe2+, H2O2 and PAM depend on the concentration of the pollutant.It should be determined by experiment before the treatment of wastewater.The results of the treatment of actual printing and dyeing wastewater are satisfying and the remova l rates of CODCr and chromaticity are 84% and 95% respectively.This process is characterized by good effect,low cost and simply operation for the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater.Therefore,it is worth spreading
