Researches on the application of ultrasonic wave assisting TiO2 photocatalysis to the degradation of printing and dyeing wastewater

Abstract

The reason of ultrasonic wave assisting titanium dioxide to increase the speed of photocatalytic degradation of printing and dyeing wastewater is discussed.The effects of ultrasonic wave assistance,H2O2 and the initial pH value o f the solution on TiO2 photocatalytic degradation have been studied.The best co nditions of the degradation of printing and dyeing wastewater are determined by the equality experimentation design as follows:the mass concentration of TiO2 added is 0.52 g/L, the initial pH value of the solution is 3.5,the ratio of rutile-typed TiO2 and anatase-typed TiO2 is 1∶3,and the feeding amount of 30% of H2O2 is 3 mL/L.
