The mixed wastewater from the production of Propylthiouracil, Prednisone, Toclase and Ethyl -cyanoacetate has been treated by catalytic oxidation and biochemistry. The influence of pH, reaction time, the dosage of oxidant on the removal rates of COD and chromaticity was investigated. The experiment results show that the effluent COD is less than 200 mg/ L,which can meet the discharge limit specified for the industrial sector.
