The facto rs which affect the determination of to tal iron content in circulating water by o - phenan-throline are studied.the f actors are the pH, the vessels and the order of adding oxammonium hy drochloride, etc.the results show thathe pH must be controlled between 2～7, all vessels must be soaked in hydrochlo ricacid for 40 minutes.Add oxammonium hy drochloride before the ci rculating water is boiled.In this case.
