Abstract

Laboratory-scale mixing, biocidal and synergistic co rrosion and scale inhibition experiments are conducted to select suitable non-oxidizing auxiliary biocides for a fertilizer plant cooling water treatment syst em using phosphonate-molybdate salts as corrosion and scale inhibitor. The bioc i des selected could also be added to the original inhibitor formula to form a com posite multifunctional cooling water treatment agent.
