The synthesis of metronidazole derivates and their bactericidal effect on sulfate reducing bacterial

Two kinds of quaterna ry ammo nium salt bactericides are prepared with metro nida zole and benzylcho ride and a rylbenzychloride, and their bactericidal efficiency on sulfa te reducing bacterial (SRB) is tested. The experiment result indicates that these compounds can no t only be dissolved in water easily but also exhibit a good bactericidal effect.
