Abstract

Four kinds of diluent are used to conserve Hg samples( quality control standard samples), observing the stability of Hg. The same conserving agent of same concentration is used to conserve Hg samples are in the wastewater and the surface water. The result isHg has poor stability in the solution of 3%HNO3, but in the so- lution of 5%HNO3-0.05%K2Cr2O7, the stability of Hg will be above half a year.
