Conditions optimization for the determination of fluorine in tap water byinhibition discoloring spectrophotometry using response surface analysis

摘要:

基于在pH=5.5的六次甲基四胺缓冲液介质中,氟离子对铬天青S与铝离子络合的阻抑作用,建立了测定微量氟的褪色光度法。利用响应面法优化测定条件,以反应时间、Al3+用量及铬天青S用量为影响因子,组合设计建立数学模型,以吸光度值作为响应值,进行响应面法分析。得到最佳测定条件:反应时间为66.17 s、Al3+用量为6.47 mL、铬天青S用量为5.19 mL,在此条件下,吸光度的实测值为0.687 7,相对误差为0.044%,RSD(n=3)=1.24%。

Abstract:

The discoloring spectrophotometry for the determination of trace amount fluorine in water has beendeveloped, based on the inhibition effect of fluorine ions on the complexation of Al 3+ with chrome azurol S in amedium of hexamethylene tetramine buffer solution, whose pH=5.5. Response surface analysis is used foroptimizingthe determination conditions. Reaction time, dosages of aluminum ions and chrome azurol S are influencing factors inthe determination. The mathematical model is established composite experiment design. Using its absorbance valueas response value, the response surface analysis is accomplished. The optimal determination conditions are asfollows: reaction time=66.17 s, dosage of aluminum ions=6.47 mL, and dosage of chrome azurol S=5.19 mL. Underthe optimum conditions, the experimental value is 0.6877. The relative error is 0.044% and RSD(n=3)=1.24%
