The preparation and photo-electrocatalytic properties of ZnO@Zn/TiO2 3D array composite

Abstract

Abstract:

In this study，TiO₂ nanotube arrays（TNTs） were prepared by anodic oxidation method，and Zn layer was deposited on TNTs by square wave pulse electrodeposition method. After surface oxidation，three-dimensional ZnO@Zn/TNTs nanocomposites with array structure were successfully prepared. The surface morphology，structure，and phase composition of the samples were investigated by field emission electron microscopy（FE-SEM），transmission electron microscopy（TEM） and X-ray diffraction（XRD）. The electrochemical technology was used to explore the photo-electrochemical properties of ZnO@Zn/TNTs nanocomposites. The experimental results showed that the degradation rate of methylene blue catalyzed by ZnO@Zn/TNTs was 86%，and the rate constant of photo‑electrocatalytic degradation was 1.65 times of that of TNTs.

摘要：

本研究采用阳极氧化法制备TiO₂纳米管阵列（TNTs），并通过方波脉冲电沉积法将Zn单质层沉积到TNTs上，经过表面氧化，成功制得具有三维阵列结构的ZnO@Zn/TNTs纳米复合材料。以场发射电子显微镜（FE-SEM）、透射电镜（TEM）、X-射线衍射仪（XRD）等测试手段研究样品的表面形貌、结构和物相组成；借助各种电化学技术探究ZnO@Zn/TNTs的光电化学性能。测试结果表明ZnO@Zn/TNTs光电催化性能好，对亚甲基蓝的降解率达到86%，其光电催化降解速率常数为TNTs的1.65倍。
