Zr-CTAB联合改性皇竹草活性炭吸附氮磷的性能研究

Adsorption characteristics of nitrogen and phosphorus by Zr-CTAB combined modified activated carbon of Pennisetum hydridum

摘要:

以皇竹草为原料制备活性炭(PAC),采用氯氧化锆(ZrOCl2·8H2O)和十六烷基三甲基溴化铵(CTAB)对其联合改性,制备出复合材料Zr-CTAB-PAC,探讨了吸附剂投加量、接触时间、pH、磷酸盐和硝酸盐初始浓度等因素对Zr-CTAB-PAC吸附水中硝酸盐及磷酸盐性能的影响。结果显示,Zr-CTAB-PAC是一种比表面积大、含有多种含氧官能团的材料,可同时吸附水中的硝酸盐及磷酸盐。在pH为5~9、Zr-CTAB-PAC用量为0.3 g、初始磷酸盐和硝酸盐质量浓度分别为15 mg/L和30 mg/L、接触时间为120 min时,Zr-CTAB-PAC对磷酸盐和硝酸盐的最大吸附量分别为3.090 mg/g和2.911 mg/g。此外,Zr-CTAB-PAC对磷酸盐和硝酸盐的吸附均符合准二级动力学模型和Langmuir吸附等温线。Zr-CTAB-PAC对磷酸盐和硝酸盐的吸附机理主要是静电吸附和离子交换。

Abstract:

Activated carbon(PAC) was prepared from Pennisetum hydridum. Zirconium oxychloride(ZrOCl2·8H2O) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB) were combined to modify PAC to prepare composite Zr-CTAB-PAC. The effects of Zr-CTAB-PAC dosage,contact time,pH,initial concentration of phosphate and nitrate on the adsorption properties of nitrate and phosphate in water were discussed. The results showed that Zr-CTAB-PAC was a kind of material with large specific surface area and containing a variety of oxygen-containing functional groups,which could adsorb nitrate and phosphate in water simultaneously. The maximum adsorption capacity of Zr-CTAB-PAC for nitrate and phosphate were 3.090 mg/g and 2.911 mg/g,respectively,under the condition of pH 5-9,the dosage of Zr-TAB-PAC 0.3 g,the initial mass concentration of phosphate and nitrate 15 mg/L and 30 mg/L,and the contact time 120 min. In addition,the adsorption of Zr-CTAB-PAC fitted the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The adsorption mechanism of phosphate and nitrate by Zr-CTAB-PAC was mainly electrostatic adsorption and ion exchange.
