Experimental research of biological removal of iron in drinking water under low pH condition

摘要:

通过试验,探讨了低pH条件下饮用水生物滤池除铁的效果及其证据。结果表明,当pH为5.7~5.9,水温为25~28℃,DO为0.7~1.5mg/L,EBCT为7.5min时,生物滤池具有良好的除铁效果;在生物除铁滤池内,滤层除铁机理主要为生物氧化作用。

Abstract:

Through some experiments, iron removal by the biological filter has been studied, and the mechanism of iron removal has been investigated under low pH condition. When pH is 5.7-5.9, water temperature is 25-28 ℃, DO is 0.7 -1.5 mg/L, and EBCT is 7.5 min, the biological filter has good effect on iron removal. In the biological filter the mechanism of iron removal of filter layer mainly is biological oxidation action.
