Research on the preparation of Sm@TiO2-SiO2 and its photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B

Sm@TiO2-SiO2的制备及其光催化降解罗丹明B的研究

Abstract: TiO2-SiO2 doped with rare earth ions has been prepared by sol-gel method using Sm(NO3)3·6H2O as raw material,and characterized by means of UV-Vis,XRD,FTIR,PL and SEM. The results show that the inlay of Sm facilitates the efficient separation of photogenerated electrons-hole,as well as improves the quantum efficiency. The catalytic degradation capability of catalysts doped with different mass percentages of Sm for Rhodamine B under xenon lamp irradiation is investigated. Then,compared to undoped catalysts,the catalysts doped with Sm has inhibiting effect on α-R phase transformation,which is beneficial to the formation of small crystalgrain anatase. The degradation rate of Rhodamine B can reach 99%,when 2%Sm@TiO2-SiO2 catalyst is used under irradiation for 3 hours.

摘要: 以硝酸钐为原料,用溶胶-凝胶法制备了稀土离子掺杂的TiO2-SiO2催化剂,并用UV-Vis、XRD、FTIR、PL、SEM进行表征。结果表明:钐(Sm)的嵌入促进了光生电子-空穴的有效分离,提高了量子效率。在氙灯照射下,考察掺杂不同质量钐的催化剂对罗丹明B的催化降解性能,相比于未掺杂催化剂,掺杂钐的催化剂对α-R相变有抑制作用,有利于形成小晶粒锐钛矿。采用2% Sm@TiO2-SiO2催化剂,照射3 h时,对罗丹明B的降解率可达99%。
