Improving of sludge dewatering performance with potassium persulfate-PAM-diatomite

过硫酸钾-PAM-硅藻土改善污泥的脱水性能研究

Abstract:

Potassium persulfate-polyacrylamide (PAM)-diatomite was used for combined conditioning of sludge. The effect of combined conditioning on the dewatering performance of sludge was investigated. The optimal dosage of each agent in the combined preconditioning was determined by response surface optimization method (RSM), taking specific resistance of sludge (SRF) as the evaluation index of dewatering performance. The results showed that SRF decreased to 4.84×1012 m/kg with the addition of potassium persulfate at 60.3 kg/t, PAM at 4.2 kg/t and diatomite at 150.8 kg/t per unit mass of absolute dry sludge (DS), and the sludge dewatering performance was significantly improved. The analysis of the dehydration mechanism showed that potassium persulfate could oxidize and destroy the extracellular polymer substance (EPS) of sludge, and change the type and content of organic matter in sludge. PAM could play the role of adsorption and flocculation. Diatomite could play the role of skeleton and establish a good dehydration channel. The combined effect improved the dewatering performance of sludge.

摘要:

采用过硫酸钾-聚丙烯酰胺(PAM)-硅藻土联合调理污泥,研究联合调理对污泥脱水性能的影响。以污泥比阻(SRF)为脱水性能评价指标,通过响应曲面优化法(RSM)确定联合预调理时各药剂的最佳用量。结果表明,在单位质量的绝干污泥(DS)中,过硫酸钾用量为60.3 kg/t、PAM用量为4.2 kg/t、硅藻土用量为150.8 kg/t时,SRF最低可降至4.84×1012 m/kg,污泥脱水性能明显改善。对其脱水机理进行分析,表明过硫酸钾能氧化破坏污泥的胞外聚合物(EPS),改变污泥中有机物的种类和含量,PAM发挥吸附絮凝作用,硅藻土起到骨架作用,建立良好的脱水通道,三者共同作用下改善了污泥脱水性能。
