Research on CPAM and CPAM coupled with FeCl3 for the improvement of sludge dewatering capability

CPAM及与FeCl3联用改善污泥脱水性能的研究

Abstract:

Taking the excessive sludge of a wastewater plant in Shanghai, China, as the research target, the influences of CPAM with different relative molecular mass and CPAM coupled with FeCl3 on the dewatering capability of sludge have been investigated via the determination of parameters, such as capillary suction time(CST), settleability, and moisture content rate, etc. The experimental results show that the sludge dewatering capability is the best under the conditioning of CPAM with a relative molecular mass of 8×106 at 30 mg/L. However, if the sludge is subjected to strong shearing action for longer shearing time, the optimum CPAM-B dosage can be ascertained by determining the turning point of CST from decreasing to increasing. The sludge dewatering effect of the CPAM-B coupled with FeCl3 is better than that of CPAM-B alone.

摘要:

以上海某污水厂剩余污泥为研究对象,通过测定污泥毛细吸水时间(CST)、沉降性能及含水率等参数研究了不同相对分子质量的CPAM及CPAM与FeCl3联用对污泥的脱水性能的影响。实验结果表明,在30 mg/L相对分子质量为8×106的CPAM(CPAM-B)调理下,污泥脱水性能最好;若污泥所受强剪切作用时间较长,可采用测定CST由减小至增大的转折点的方法,确定最适宜的CPAM-B投加量;CPAM-B与FeCl3联用的污泥脱水效果优于CPAM-B单独调理。
