呼吸图谱法评估活性污泥反硝化性能

Respirogram-based approach to estimate denitrification performance of activated sludge

摘要:

呼吸图谱法已广泛应用于活性污泥系统生物特性的评估。采用批次静态试验方法,研究了污泥絮体类型、MLSS和厌氧适应期对反硝化作用的影响及反硝化过程中污泥特性的变化,考察反硝化作用后污泥呼吸图谱特征的变化。结果表明:反硝化前进行30 min的厌氧适应期可有效提高反硝化效果,当厌氧时间过长(120、300 min)时,污泥的反硝化性能恶化。在反硝化过程中污泥絮体粒径增大,导致活性污泥的内源呼吸速率(SOURe)和准内源呼吸速率(SOURq)明显增大,且NO3-还原速率随ΔSOURe的增大而增大;当反硝化性能恶化时,上述呼吸速率均下降,因此可用内源和准内源呼吸速率监测系统的反硝化性能。

Abstract:

Respirogram has been widely used to evaluate the biological characteristics of activated sludge systems. The effect of sludge type, MLSS and anaerobic adaptation on denitrification and the change of sludge characteristics during denitrification, and the respirogram change after denitrification were studied by batch static test method. The results showed that the anaerobic adaptation period of 30 min before denitrification could effectively improve the denitrification effect. When the anaerobic adaptation period was too long(120, 300 min), the denitrification performance of the sludge deteriorated. In the process of denitrification, the size of sludge floc increased, which led to the increase of the endogenous and quasi-endogenous respiration rates(SOURe and SOURq) of the activated sludge, and NO3- reduction rate as ΔSOURe increases. However, when denitrification performance deteriorated, the above respiration rate decreased. Therefore, SOURe and SOURq can be used to monitor denitrification performance.
