Synthesis and properties of polyepoxysuccinic acid derivative green scale inhibitor

摘要:

L-胱氨酸、牛磺酸和聚环氧琥珀酸(PESA)为原料,采用三元共聚法合成了一种PESA衍生物LC-T-PESA,通过红外光谱和核磁碳谱表征了LC-T-PESA的分子结构,结果显示与理论产物一致,制得的三元共聚物黏均相对分子质量为1 700,符合水处理药剂要求。LC-T-PESA的阻垢性能测试结果表明:当LC-T-PESA投加量为10 mg/L时,阻碳酸钙垢率为99%,当LC-T-PESA投加量为20 mg/L时,阻磷酸钙垢率为94%左右,较商品级PESA都有显著提高。通过XRD和SEM分析研究了LC-T-PESA的阻垢机理,结果表明,随着LC-T-PESA投加量的增加,钙垢晶型发生改变,逐渐由方解石向尺寸更小的霰石结构发展,且LC-T-PESA明显抑制了碳酸钙垢晶体的生长。

Abstract:

A polyepoxysuccinic acid derivative(LC-T-PESA) was synthesized by ternary copolymerizing with L-cystine, taurine and polyepoxysuccinic acid. The molecular structure of the ternary copolymer was characterized by FTIR and NMR, and the results showed that it was consistent with the theoretical product. The product viscosity average molecular weight under this synthesis condition is 1 700 and meets the requirement of water treatment agents. The results of the LC-T-PESA scale inhibition performance test showed that: with the dosage 10 mg/L, the calcium carbonate scale 99%, 20 mg/L of LC-T-PESA dosage, the calcium phosphate scale about 94%, which is better than commercial grade PESA. The scale inhibition mechanism was analyzed with XRD and SEM analysis. The result showed that the crystal form of calcium scale changed from calcite to smaller size aragonite with the increasing of LC-T-PESA which obviously inhibited the crystal growth of calcium carbonate scale.
