Abstract:

The measurement uncertainty of the total alkalinity of water quality in industrial boilers has been evaluated by volumetric method. The effect of the influential factors, such as repetitiveness, preparation of standard solution, titration, etc on the measurement is considered sufficiently. The uncertainty of the relative synthetic standard of the measurement of total alkalinity in water is calculated as 3. 8×10-3.
