Research on the corrosion inhibition capability of Schiff base surfactants for stainless steel

席夫碱表面活性剂对不锈钢的缓蚀性能研究

Abstract: The corrosion inhibiting capability of 3 kinds of Schiff base surfactant corrosion inhibitors in 4 mol/L of hydrochloric acid for stainless steel has been investigated. The results of weightless test experiments show that Schiff base surfactant has good corrosion inhibiting capability and its inhibition rate is increased with the increase of corrosion inhibitor concentration. The results of electrochemical experiments show that the 3 kinds of corrosion inhibitors are all mixed corrosion inhibitors mainly for anode inhibition. The adsorption of the 3 kinds of corrosion inhibitors on stainless steel surfaces accord with Langmuir adsorption isotherm equation,including both physical and chemical adsorption processes.

摘要: 研究了3种席夫碱表面活性剂型缓蚀剂在4 mol/L盐酸中对不锈钢的缓蚀性能。失重实验结果表明,席夫碱表面活性剂具有良好的缓蚀性能,缓蚀率随缓蚀剂浓度的增大而增大。电化学实验结果表明,3种缓蚀剂均是以抑制阳极为主的混合型缓蚀剂。3种缓蚀剂在不锈钢表面的吸附符合Langmuir吸附等温方程,包含物理吸附过程和化学吸附过程。
