Preparation of bamboo charcoal modified with TiO2 and the photo-catalytic degradation of phenol

TiO2改性竹炭的制备及光催化降解苯酚的研究

Abstract:

Sol-gel method has been used for preparing composite material,TiO2/bamboo charcoal(TiO2/BC).The composite material is characterized by XRD,SEM techniques.The results show that the TiO2 in TiO2/BC structure exists in anatase phase,and its particle sizes becomes smaller after TiO2 loads on the surface of BC.The photocatalytic activity of the composite material is investigated under UV light by the degradation of phenol simulated wastewater. The results show that the TiO2/BC composite material has better photo-catalytic activity. The degradation rate of phenol is 56.36% by using TiO2/BC composite material under optimum conditions.

摘要:

采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了TiO2/竹炭复合材料。利用XRD、SEM对该材料进行了表征。结果表明,TiO2/竹炭结构中TiO2以锐钛矿相存在,同时负载在竹炭表面后TiO2的粒径变小。以苯酚模拟废水的降解率考察TiO2/竹炭复合材料的光催化活性,结果表明,TiO2/竹炭复合材料具有较高的光催化活性,最佳条件下,TiO2/竹炭复合材料对苯酚的降解率为56.36%。
