Abstract:

The hydroxyapatite(HAP) was prepared from pig bone as raw material, and its adsorption performance for heavy metal ion uranium(Ⅵ) was investigated. The impact of the system of pH, initial concentration of uranium wastewater, the dosage of hydroxyapatite, adsorption time, system temperature on adsorption properties of HAP to uranium (Ⅵ) were discussed. The results showed that the adsorbent was mainly composed of hydroxyapatite Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2, and its crystal structure changed from short rod structure to lamellar structure. When the temperature was 25℃ and the pH was 4, uranium in the adsorption solution of hydroxyapatite reached equilibrium within 80 min, and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 483.10 mg/g. The adsorption capacity increased gradually with the increase of system temperature, which was beneficial to adsorption. The pseudo-second-order kinetic equation can better fit the adsorption process and the adsorption behavior is more in line with the Langmuir model. Material characterization and adsorption experiments showed that the adsorption mechanism was uranium(Ⅵ) and HAP reactive surface complexation reaction and ion exchange reaction.
