Abstract:

The distillation-dynamic-micro-electrolysis-Fenton- neutralization-sedimentation process has been used for treating plasticizer wastewater with high concentration. The results of the research show that, after the treatment, the COD_Cr of the original water decreases from 105 600 mg/L to 44 521 mg/L, the removal rate reaches 57.8% and the B/C is 0.53. The changes create good conditions for the following treatment. This method has many advantages, such as reclaiming some organisms and being easy to put into practice. The Fe2⁺ produced in the process of microelectrolysis treatment could be used as a source of iron for the sequent Fenton process, which decreases the operation cost.
