Influences of GAC on the treatment of landfill leachate by A/O-MBR

摘要:

采用A/O-MBR处理垃圾渗滤液,考察投加颗粒活性炭(GAC)对出水水质、膜污染的影响,以及不同投加量对出水水质的影响。结果表明:与不投加GAC相比,在A/O-MBR中投加0.75 g/L GAC时,出水平均COD从1 585 mg/L下降到1 484 mg/L,NH4+-N平均从25.6 mg/L下降到23 mg/L,出水水质有所提高。同时膜压增长速度减慢,膜表面泥饼层厚度减小,表明膜污染减缓。当GAC投加量从1 g/L提高到2 g/L时,出水平均COD从1 220 mg/L下降到840 mg/L,出水NH4+-N平均从20.8 mg/L下降到18 mg/L,说明增大GAC投加量有助于提高MBR出水水质,同时可大大减缓膜污染,并明显降低垃圾渗滤液后续纳滤、反渗透处理的污染压力。

Abstract:

A/O-MBR has been used for treating landfill leachate. The influences of GAC on effluent water quality,and membrane fouling,as well as the influences of different GAC dosages on effluent water quality are investigated. The results show that compared with the case that no GAC is added,the effluent average COD decreases from 1 585 mg/L to 1 484 mg/L, and the average NH4+-N decreases from 25.6 mg/L to 23 mg/L,when 0.75 g/L of GAC is added to A/O-MBR. It indicates that the effluent water quality has been improved. Meanwhile,the transmernbrane pressure increasing rate is slowed down,the thickness of membrane surface cake layer gets thinner,indicating the membrane fouling is alleviated obviously. When GAC dosage is increased from 1 g/L to 2 g/L,the effluent average COD decreases from 1 220 mg/L to 840 mg/L,and the effluent average NH4+-N decreases from 20.8 mg/L to 18 mg/L. It indicates that increasing GAC dosage helps to improve the effluent water quality of MBR,and alleviate membrane fouling greatly. Furthermore,the fouling pressure from the following nano-filtration and reverse osmosis treatment of landfill leachate can be lightened remarkably.
