Preparation of inorganic-organic composite coagulants PAFC-PDA and its effects on treating synthetic printing and dyeing wastewater

摘要: 为增强混凝法去除印染废水中活性染料的实际使用效能,以聚合氯化铝铁(PAFC)和二甲基二烯丙基氯化铵/丙烯酰胺共聚物(PDA)为材料,制备了无机-有机复合混凝剂PAFC-PDA。采用响应曲面法优化PAFC-PDA的制备参数,试验考察的制备参数范围:铝铁比为1~9、碱化度为0.5~1.5、无机有机比为0.1~0.4。选择活性艳蓝KN-R为典型活性染料配制废水,PAFC-PDA的最佳制备参数:铝铁比为9、碱化度为1.5、无机有机比为0.1,在最佳混凝条件下,混凝剂最大染料去除率为91%,对应投药量为2.4 mmol/L。试验结果表明,复合混凝剂PAFC-PDA对活性艳蓝KN-R染料的去除率较高且效果稳定。

Abstract: In order to enhance the practical application efficiency of coagulation method for the removal of reactive dyes from printing and dyeing wastewater, polyaluminum ferric chloride(PAFC) and poly(acrylamide-co-diallyldi-methylammonium chloride(PDA) as materials have been used for the preparation of inorganic-organic composite coa-gulant PAFC-PDA. In the research, the preparation parameters of the inorganic-organic composite coagulant PAFC-PDA are optimized by response surface methodology. The ranges of preparation parameters tested and investigated are as follows:the molar ratio of aluminum and iron(A) is from 1 to 9, the alkalinity(B) from 0.5 to 1.5 and the ratio of inorganic and organic components(C) from 0.1 to 0.4. Using reactive brilliant blue KN-R as typical reaction dye for preparing wastewater, the optimal preparation parameters of PAFC-PDA are as follows:A=9, B=1.5 and C=0.1. Under optimal coagulation conditions, the highest dye removing rate of the coagulant with optimal mixture ratios is 91% and the corresponding dosage is 2.4 mmol/L. The experimental results show that composite coagulant PAFC-PDA has a relatively high and stable effect on the removing rate of reactive brilliant blue KN-R dye.
