铌基掺硼金刚石电极电化学氧化处理生姜切片废水

Treatment of ginger slicing wastewater by electrochemical oxidation using niobium-based boron-doped diamond electrode

摘要:

生姜切片废水具有COD高、成分复杂、难降解、微生物抑制性等特点,利用铌基掺硼金刚石(Nb-BDD)电极构建电化学氧化工艺对其进行处理,采用单因素法考察了电解时间、支持电解质种类、电流密度、pH、废水初始浓度对COD去除效果的影响,通过气相色谱-质谱联用仪(GC-MS)检测最优电解条件下经电化学氧化法处理前后废水中有机污染物的组成变化,并分析了电化学氧化法的经济可行性。结果表明,初始COD为600 mg/L的生姜切片废水,在溶液初始pH=7、支持电解质为0.5 mol/L NaCl、电流密度为65 mA/cm2、反应时间为160 min的条件下,COD去除率可达82.72%;电化学氧化反应后生姜切片废水中特征污染物6-姜酚被完全去除,主要污染物种类由原来的15种减至3种。采用电化学氧化法处理1 m3生姜切片废水的运行费用为22.22元,1 g COD的处理成本为0.02元。

Abstract:

Ginger slicing wastewater,characterized with high COD,complex composition,difficult degradation,and microbial inhibition,etc.,was treated by the electrochemical oxidation process using the niobium-based boron-doped diamond(Nb-BDD) electrode. The effects of electrolysis time,electrolyte type,current density,pH and initial wastewater concentration on COD removal were investigated using a single-factor experimental method. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) was used to determine the changes in the composition of organic pollutants in wastewater before and after treatment by the electrochemical oxidation process under optimum conditions. Finally,the economic feasibility of the electrochemical oxidation process was analyzed. The results showed that the COD removal rate of ginger slicing wastewater with an initial COD of 600 mg/L was up to 82.72% under the conditions of initial pH of 7,0.5 mol/L NaCl,current density of 65 mA/cm2,and reaction time of 160 min. The 6-gingerol was completely removed and the types of major contaminants were reduced from 15 to 3. The operating cost of treating 1 m3 ginger slicing wastewater by electrochemical oxidation was 22.22 yuan,and the treatment cost of 1 g COD was 0.02 yuan.
