生物炭载体对厌氧反应器启动的影响研究

Effect of biochar carrier on start-up of anaerobic reactors

摘要:

以自制生物炭YDcarrier-1为载体,研究了其对厌氧反应器启动及颗粒污泥形成的影响,并分析了YDcarrier-1的不同碳组成及作用。结果表明,YDcarrier-1可缩短厌氧反应器的启动时间,在厌氧序批式反应器(ASBR)中投加种子污泥干重20%的YDcarrier-1,COD去除率达到80%以上的启动时间比对照组(未投加YDcarrier-1)和投加10% YDcarrier-1的反应器分别缩短9 d和3 d。在上流式厌氧污泥床反应器(UASB)中,用相当于污泥干重20%的YDcarrier-1替代50%的种子污泥,不仅反应器的启动未受影响,还培养出沉降性和稳定性良好的颗粒污泥。反应器启动完成时,粒径>0.9 mm的颗粒污泥占比为29.4%,平均沉降速度为128 m/h,均高于对照组。YDcarrier-1中的可溶性速效碳提高了厌氧反应器的初始COD,加快了种子污泥的活化改性,可促进厌氧反应器启动;固态缓释碳不仅提高了YDcarrier-1对微生物的亲和性,还为颗粒污泥的形成提供了长效稳定的碳源;难降解的木质纤维素成为颗粒污泥的骨架,提高了颗粒污泥的稳定性。

Abstract:

The effects of self-made biochar YDcarrier-1 on the start-up of anaerobic reactor and the formation of granular sludge were studied,and the different carbon compositions and its effects of YDcarrier-1 were analyzed. The results showed that YDcarrier-1 could shorten the start-up time of anaerobic reactors. When adding YDcarrier-1 with 20% dry weight of seed sludge in anaerobic sequencing batch reactor(ASBR),the start-up time with COD removal rate of more than 80% was shortened by 9 days and 3 days respectively,compared with the control group(without adding YDcarrier-1) and the reactor with 10% YDcarrier-1. In the up-flow anaerobic sludge bed reactor(UASB),Some YDcarrier-1 equivalent to 20% of the dry weight of sludge was used to replace 50% of the seed sludge,which not only did not affect the start-up of the reactor,but also cultivated granular sludge with good sedimentation and stability. When the reactors were started up,the proportion and average settling speed of granular sludge with particle size greater than 0.9 mm was 29.4% and 128 m/h respectively,which were higher than those of the control group. The soluble available carbon in YDcarrier-1 improved the initial COD of anaerobic reactor,accelerated the activation and modification of seed sludge,and promoted the start-up of anaerobic reactor. The solid slow-release carbon not only improved the affinity of YDcarrier-1 to microorganisms,but also provided a long-term and stable carbon source for the formation of granular sludge. The refractory lignocellulose became the skeleton of granular sludge and improved the stability of granular sludge.
