The effects of sludge pretreatment on granulation and phenols removal in UASB reactor

摘要:

采用CaSO4和阳离子聚丙烯酰胺(CPAM)对污泥预处理,研究污泥预处理对污泥颗粒化和UASB处理含酚废水的影响。结果表明,污泥预处理加速颗粒污泥的形成,运行90 d,颗粒污泥的质量分数比对照组高40.3%。污泥颗粒化提高了UASB处理含酚废水的运行性能和耐冲击能力。污泥预处理促进了酚类降解菌(SyntrophorhabdusCryptanaerobacterSyntrophusPelotomaculum和Pseudomonas)的富集,加速酚类化合物的降解。

Abstract:

Sludge was pretreated with CaSO4 and cationic polyacrylamide(CPAM). The effects of sludge pretreatment on granulation and the treatment of phenolic wastewater were also investigated in UASB reactor. The results showed sludge pretreatment accelerated the formation of granular sludge. After 90 days of operation, the mass fraction of the granule increased by 40.3% in comparison of the control group. Sludge granulation also improved the UASB performance and impact resistance. The sludge pretreatment facilitated the enrichment of phenolic degrading bacteria(Syntrophorhabdus, Syntrophus, Cryptanaerobacter, Pelotomaculum and Pseudomonas), and accelerated the degradation of phenolic compounds.
