Combination of iron-carbon micro-electrolysis and peracetic acid for the treatment of Rhodamine B containing wastewater

铁碳微电解与过氧乙酸联用处理罗丹明B废水

Abstract: The combined method of iron-carbon micro-electrolysis and peracetic acid has been used for the treat-ment of wastewater containing Rhodamine B(RhB). The influences of iron powder dosage,iron-carbon ratio,pH and peracetic acid dosage on the treatment effect have been investigated,and the optimal reaction conditions ascertained. The results show that the optimal conditions are as follows:the dosage of iron powder is 1.8 g/L,mass ratio of Fe and C=1:1,pH 4,at room temperature,and dosage of peracetic acid(PAA) is 0.3 mmol/L. The decolorization rate can reach 92.1% and the removing rate of TOC can reach 80.6%,after the Rhodamine B wastewater has been treated for 40 min. Compared with the single iron-carbon micro-electrolysis method,the removing rate is increased obviously.

摘要: 采用铁碳微电解与过氧乙酸联用的方法处理含罗丹明B(RhB)废水。研究了铁粉投加量、铁碳比、pH、过氧乙酸投加量对处理效果的影响,并确定了最佳反应条件。结果表明,室温下,铁粉投加量为1.8 g/L、m(Fe):m(C)为1:1,初始pH为4、过氧乙酸投加量为0.3 mmol/L为最优反应条件。处理RhB废水40 min后,脱色率可达到92.1%,TOC去除率达到80.6%。与单独的铁碳微电解法相比,去除率明显增加。
