生物炭固定化UASB去除中药废水有机物性能研究

Organic matter removal in herbal wastewater by biochar-immobilized UASB

摘要:

以牛粪生物炭为支撑材料,构建固定化上流式厌氧污泥床(UASB)系统,考察其对中药废水有机物的处理性能。与对照组相比,固定化UASB系统能有效缩短系统的启动周期并提高有机物去除能力。启动成功后,固定化UASB系统的COD去除率达到91.3%±1.9%,高于对照组的79.5%±1.5%。生物炭投加能促进厌氧颗粒污泥的形成,并提高其对pH变化的耐受性。在低pH(5.6)下,固定化UASB的COD去除率达到86.1%±2.1%,高于对照组的59.8%±1.7%。

Abstract:

This study investigated the organic matter removal in herbal wastewater by employing the immobilized upflow anaerobic sludge bed(UASB), which uses cow manure-derived biochar as support material for sludge. Biocharimmobilized UASB can effectively shorten the start-up time and improve removal efficiency of organic matters. The COD removal rate reached 91.3% ±1.9% at the steady state by immobilized UASB, higher than the control group of 79.5% ±1.5%. The addition of biochar can accelerate the formation of anaerobic granular sludge and improve the resistance to pH variation. At a low pH of 5.6, the high COD removal rate of 86.1% ±2.1% was obtained by using immobilized UASB, while the low COD removal rate of 59.8% ±1.7% was obtained by the control group.
