Purification capacity of attapulgite membrane for the continuous blowdown wastewater from industrial boilers

摘要:

采用悬浮粒子法在Al2O3基体表面经800℃烧结制备凹凸棒土膜(ACM)。压汞仪、扫描电镜、X-射线衍射等对ACM的表征结果显示,膜孔径分布于9.05~19.57 nm,且烧结后的晶体结构无显著变化。基于工业锅炉(≤2.45 MPa)连排废水(BW)的水质特征,利用ACM在实验室条件下以死端截留模式处理BW,结果显示,ACM可有效去除CO32-和SO42-,历经24 h过滤后,对两种离子的去除率依然可保持在90%以上。

Abstract:

The attapulgite membrane(ACM) has been prepared on Al2O3 substrate surface by suspended particle method at 800℃. ACM is characterized by mercury porosimeter, scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction.The results show that the pore size distribution of ACM is from 9.05 nm to 19.57 nm. In addition, the crystal structure does not have obvious change after sintering. Based on the water quality characteristic of continuous blowdown(BW)wastewater from industrial boilers(≤2.45 MPa), ACM is utilized for treating BW in mode of dead-end interception, under lab conditions. The results show that ACM could effectively remove carbonate and sulfate. The removing rates of CO32- and SO42- could stay constant at more than 90% after having been filtrated for 24 h.
