Research on the adsorption characteristics of synthetic ferrihydrite for hexavalent chromiumon in water

摘要:

利用人工合成的水铁矿对水中的铬(Ⅵ)进行吸附研究,考察了吸附时间、吸附剂用量、离子强度等对吸附效果的影响。结果表明,在室温条件下,水铁矿吸附Cr(Ⅵ)达到吸附平衡用时约120 min,吸附剂水铁矿的最佳投加量为2 g/L;在pH为2~4、离子强度为0.01~0.02 mol/L时,Cr(Ⅵ)的去除率较高。水铁矿吸附Cr(Ⅵ)的动力学过程可用准二级动力学方程描述,而吸附平衡过程符合Freundlich等温吸附模型。

Abstract:

The adsorption characteristics of synthetic ferrihydrite for Cr(Ⅵ) in water has been studied. The influences of adsorption time,adsorbent dosage,ionic strength,etc. on the adsorbing effect are investigated. The results show that under room temperature condition,it takes about 120 min for ferrihydrite to adsorb Cr(Ⅵ) and reach adsorption equilibrium. The optimum dosage of the adsorbent ferrihydrite is 2 g/L. When pH is 2-4,and ionic strength 0.01-0.02 mol/L,the Cr(Ⅵ) removing rate is comparatively high. The kinetics process of ferrihydrite for adsorbing Cr(Ⅵ) can be described by pseudo-second-order kinetics equation,while the adsorption equilibrium complies with the Freundlich isotherm adsorption model.
