Treatment of copper-containing wastewater with the two compound novel heavy metal flocculants

摘要:

采用2种新型重金属絮凝剂巯基乙酰化胺甲基聚丙烯酰胺(MAAPAM)和聚乙烯亚胺基黄原酸钠(PEX)处理含铜废水,分别考察了其单独和复配处理对废水中Cu2+的去除效果。结果表明,PEX和MAAPAM对不同Cu2+浓度的废水均具有良好的去除性能,且PEX对Cu2+的去除效果优于MAAPAM。当采用PEX和MAAPAM复配处理含Cu2+废水(Cu2+质量浓度为100 mg/L,pH为6.0)时,先投加340 mg/L的MAAPAM进行絮凝试验,在快搅2 min时投加10 mg/L的PEX继续搅拌,出水中Cu2+的剩余浓度可以满足排放标准要求,且具有较低的处理成本。

Abstract:

Copper-containing wastewater was treated by two kinds of novel heavy metal flocculant, called mercaptoacetyl aminomethyl-polyacrylamide(MAAPAM) and polyethyleneimine-sodium xanthogenate(PEX), respectively. The removal effect of Cu2+ in wastewater was investigated by using two flocculants separately and in pairs. The results showed that PEX and MAAPAM had excellent performance for removing wastewater with different Cu2+ concentrations, and PEX had better removal effect on Cu2+ than MAAPAM. In the flocculation test, when 340 mg/L of MAAPAM was first added in the copper-containing wastewater with initial Cu2+ concentration of 100 mg/L at pH 6.0, and then 10 mg/L of PEX was added after stirring the mixture rapidly for 2 min, the residual concentration of Cu2+ in the effluent could meet the discharge standard and had lower treatment costs.
