摘要:

研究了粉末活性炭(PAC)主要性能指标对其吸附去除水中2-甲基异莰醇(2-MIB)和土臭素(GSM)效能的影响。结果表明,影响2-MIB和GSM吸附量的主要因素是活性炭特定孔径区间的比表面积,其中,2-MIB和GSM吸附量分别与1.0~1.2 nm、0.64~1.0 nm孔径区间的比表面积显著相关;活性炭碘值与2-MIB吸附量及1.0~1.2 nm孔径区间的比表面积均具有良好的一致性,可以作为衡量2-MIB吸附量的参考指标。本研究结果可为供水企业选购PAC用于应对水源季节性嗅味问题提供技术参考。

Abstract:

The effects of main performance indicators of powder activated carbon on the removal efficiency of 2-methylisoborneol(2-MIB) and geosmin(GSM) in water were studied. The results showed that, the main factor affecting the adsorption of 2-MIB and GSM was the specific surface area of powder activated carbon in the specific pore size range. The adsorptions of 2-MIB and GSM were significantly related to the specific surface area of the 1.0-1.2 nm and 0.64-1.0 nm pore size range respectively. The iodine adsorption value of powder activated carbon, which had significant correlations with the adsorption capacity of 2-MIB and the specific surface area in the pore size range of 1.0-1.2 nm, could be used as a reference index for the adsorption of 2-MIB. The results of this study can provide a technical reference for water supply companies to select PAC to deal with the seasonal taste and odor problems of water sources.
