活性炭吸附水中Zn2+及其配合物的特性研究

摘要:

以活性炭作吸附剂,研究了在不同 pH、浓度、离子强度和配合剂的条件下,活性炭自溶液中吸附Zn2 +及其配合物Zn -EDTA的特性。实验结果得出活性炭吸附Zn2 +在配合体系中的吸附不同于简单Zn2 +的吸附,简单Zn2 +的吸附主要是以静电吸附的机理进行,而在配合体系中,可能在活性炭 /水界面上发生配位吸附作用

Abstract:

The adsorption characteristics of Zn(Ⅱ)and its complex compound from aqueous solution on activated carbon have been investigated .When their pH , concentration , ionic strength and chelating agents are different,experimental results indicate that adsorption of Zn(Ⅱ)principally carries through an electrostatic mechanism ,and that of Zn(Ⅱ)—EDTA mainly is “Ligand —like” configuration.The adsorption increases with increasing proton concentration due to the formation of surface complexes between EDTA and the surface acidic groups of carbon,especially the —COOH,—OH surface groups .The pH —dependent adsorption behavior and the magnitude of adsorption of the “free” EDTA species are similar to those of the Zn(Ⅱ)—EDTA complexes,the carbon surface preferred the ZnHEDTA-species to the others.
