Improvement of sludge dewatering capability with modified polyaluminium chloride residue

改性聚铝废渣对污泥脱水性能的影响

Abstract:

The composition and property of the polyaluminum chloride residue(PACR) before and after modification are investigated. The improvement of sludge dewatering performance is analyzed. Compared the results of PACR by acid-modified or by alkali-modified, it is showed that acid modification do not significantly improve the sludge dewatering performance. The optimum modified condition is at the Ca(OH)2 concentration of 1 mol/L for 3 h, and the PACR dosage of 20 g/L. The sludge settling ratio, capillary sop time and sludge water content decreased from 88%, 15.7 s and 78.74% to 40%, 12.9 s and 58.67%, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy shows that the alkali-modified aluminum-containing waste residue has a looser void structure.

摘要:

考察了聚合氯化铝生产废渣改性前后的组分、性质,及其对污泥脱水性能的改善情况。对酸/碱改性含铝废渣的污泥调理效果进行比较,结果表明:酸改性未能明显改善含铝废渣的污泥调理性能;含铝废渣的碱改性最佳条件为1 mol/L Ca(OH)2,改性3 h,废渣投加量为20 g/L,污泥经调理后沉降比、毛细吸水时间及含水率分别由原先的88%、15.7 s、78.74%降至40%、12.9 s、58.67%。扫描电镜显示碱改性含铝废渣的空隙结构更松散。
