Improving the anaerobic treatment of phenolic wastewater by using peat soil

泥炭土强化厌氧生物处理含酚废水研究

Abstract:

The effects of peat soil on the treatment of phenolic wastewater are investigated in a UASB reactor. The characteristics of granules and microbial community structure are analyzed. The results show that peat soil can improve UASB performance and shock-loading resistance. During the steady period(HRT of 20 h and OLR of 5.31 kg/(m3·d)), the average removal rates of COD and total phenol in the UASB with peat soil are 86.26% and 91.37%, respectively, which are 3.15% and 2.32% higher than those in the control group. Peat soil promotes the secretion of EPS and improves the stability and sedimentation of granular sludge. The addition of peat soil is contributed to the enrichment of hydrolytic bacteria(Mesotoga), phenols-degrading bacteria(Trichococcus) and filamentous bacteria(Longilinea and Leptolinea), improving the degradation and conversion of phenolic compounds.

摘要:

研究了泥炭土对UASB处理含酚废水的影响,并对颗粒污泥特性和微生物群落结构进行分析。实验结果表明,泥炭土可提高UASB的运行性能和耐冲击能力。稳定运行期[HRT=20 h,OLR=5.31 kg/(m3·d)],投加泥炭土反应器的COD和总酚的平均去除率为86.26%、91.37%,比对照组提高了3.15%、2.32%。泥炭土可促进颗粒污泥EPS的分泌,提高了颗粒污泥的稳定性和沉降性。投加泥炭土有利于水解菌(Mesotoga)、酚类降解菌(Trichococcus)以及丝状菌(LongilineaLeptolinea)的富集,促进酚类化合物的进一步降解和转化。
