Metabolic shift of phosphorus accumulating organisms in enhanced biological phosphorus removal systems

摘要: 强化生物除磷(EBPR)是活性污泥法工艺去除污水中磷的主要方式。聚磷菌是生物除磷过程中起主要作用的微生物,其代谢特性是否稳定对于系统除磷性能的好坏有着至关重要的影响。在一些特定条件下,聚磷菌的代谢模式会发生变化,表现为对挥发性脂肪酸的摄取仍然存在,同时释磷活性大幅减弱。聚磷菌采用类似于聚糖菌代谢模式进行代谢的行为被称作代谢迁移。总结了近年来相关的研究进展和成果,阐述了聚磷菌可能发生代谢迁移的条件及影响因素,并分析了可能导致聚磷菌发生代谢迁移的机理。

Abstract: Enhanced biological phosphorus removal(EBPR) is the main pathway for the phosphorus removal from wastewater by activated sludge process. Phosphorus accumulating organisms(PAOs) are the main microbes which play an important role in the process of phosphorus removal. Whether their metabolic properties are steady or not has the most important influence on the phosphorus removal performance. Under some specific conditions, the metabolism mode of PAOs may be changed, showing that volatile fatty acid is still up-taken, while phosphorus-releasing activity is decreased to a great extent. The PAOs metabolic behavior similar to the metabolism mode of glycogen accumulating organisms(GAOs) is called the metabolic shift of PAOs. Relevant research progress and results in recent years are summarized, the conditions and influencing factors that possibly cause the occurrence of metabolism shift of PAOs expounded, and the mechanisms that possibly cause the occurrence of metabolic shift of PAOs analyzed.
