响应曲面法优化碱改性活性炭吸附水中苯酚研究

Research on response surface methodology for the optimization of alkali-modified activated carbon in the adsorption for phenol in water

摘要: 利用响应曲面法确定氢氧化钠改性椰壳活性炭的最佳条件为碱液浓度3.7 mol/L,改性时间4.6 h,将改性活性炭用于水中苯酚的吸附。改性后活性炭的比表面积增大了2.8%,平均孔容提高了6.7%,其中微孔孔容增加明显;其表面酸性含氧基团减少,碱性含氧基团增加,吸附活性位点增多;吸附效果较未改性时提高了16.6%。Freundlich模型能更好地模拟碱改性后活性炭对苯酚的吸附行为。

Abstract: The best conditions for sodium hydroxide-modified coconut shell activated carbon has been determined by response surface methodology(RSM) as follows:alkali liquor concentration is 3.7 mol/L,and modification time 4.6 h. The modified activated carbon has been used for the adsorption of phenol. The results show that after the modifica-tion,2.8% of specific surface area is increased,and 6.7% of average pore volume is increased,among which the incr-ease of micro-pore volume is remarkable. Its surface acidic oxygen-containing groups are decreased,alkaline oxygen-containing groups are increased,and its adsorption active sites are increased. The adsorption effect is 16.6% higher than that of unmodified ones. Freundlich model can simulate the adsorptive action of alkali-modified activated carbon on phenol better.
