过氧乙酸污水消毒的中试研究

Investigation on disinfection efficiency of peracetic acid at a pilot scale

摘要:

消毒是污水处理的重要保障环节之一,但传统氯消毒工艺存在产生有害消毒副产物的潜在风险。首次采用新型消毒剂过氧乙酸(PAA)对我国市政污水处理厂出水进行消毒中试研究,考察了PAA在不同投加浓度和接触时间下的消毒效率及其对出水水质、消毒副产物的影响。结果表明,PAA可在较低投加量下获得较好的消毒效果,且投加量越大,接触时间越长,消毒效果越好;当PAA投加质量浓度为4 mg/L、接触时间为10 min时,其对粪大肠杆菌的对数灭活率达到3.20(即>99.9%)。虽然PAA消毒会对出水水质(COD、NH3-N和TOC)产生轻微扰动,但并不影响出水水质达标。与传统NaClO消毒工艺相比,PAA用于污水消毒的过程中不会产生三卤甲烷(THMs)以及卤乙酸(HAAs)消毒副产物。

Abstract:

Disinfection is one of the important guarantee links for sewage treatment,but the traditional chlorine disinfection process has the potential risk of producing harmful disinfection by-products. A new type of disinfectant,peracetic acid(PAA) was used to conduct a pilot study on disinfection of the effluent of a municipal sewage treatment plant in China,and the disinfection efficiency of PAA under different dosage concentrations and contact time,and its influence on the quality of the effluent and the generation of disinfection by-products were investigated. The results showed that PAA could obtain a good disinfection efficiency at a low dosage,and the disinfection efficiency increased with the increasing dosage of PAA and the longer contact time. When the dosage of PAA was 4 mg/L,and the contact time was 10 minutes,its logarithmic inactivation rate of fecal E. coli could reach 3.20(the removal rate greater than 99.9%). Although PAA disinfection caused slight fluctuations in the effluent quality(COD,NH3-N and TOC),the effluent quality could still meet the standard. Compared with the traditional NaClO disinfection process, the PAA disinfection did not form disinfection by-products of trihalomethane(THMs) and haloacetic acid(HAAs).
